Never underestimate how good the right cut and colour can make you look and feel!

Loves…

Working with long hair for weddings and special occasions. I get great satisfaction from colour correction work and also feel a great sense of achievement when i create a cut that makes my client look great and helps them manage their hair at home.

Creative Influence

Alexa Chung, Kate Moss and Judi Dench for their glamorous grungy chic looks. I take a lot of inspiration from music, fashion and interiors magazines. I love combining contrasts of colours and texture to make things a little more quirky and fun!

Favourite product

Label M Titanium Straighteners. Not just for straightening, they can also be used for creating curves, flicks and create volume with root lift and curls.

Stylists Top Tip

If you ever complain that you cant achieve your look at home start by using the products and tools suggested by your stylist, the rest is just practise.

Hair is the only fashion that you wear everyday! This is why its important that no matter what the event – from elegant ball to nipping to the shops – you must have a style that you can easily do on a daily basis.

Loves…

Tailor making colour that compliments your skintone, personality and lifestyle. Colour can make or break your overall look, so its imperative that it both suits you and the maintenance fits into your schedule.

Creative Influence

David Beckham is always styled to perfection and experiments with cuts & colours. He’s a trend setter not a follower! Rihanna for her short pixie crops to long beach waves, she’s done it all. Her mix of colours along the way show how you can add a dash of colour to your life in daring and subtle ways.

Favourite product

Sea Salt spray – A fantastic way to add volume and texture to wet or dry hair on both long and short styles!

Stylists Top Tip

Don’t be afraid to experiment. Change your parting or try curling your hair… you’ll be amazed at how a simple change of styling makes your usual cut look different.

An outfit never looks or feels good without the correct hair to match! Healthy, happy hair boosts confidence and completes a person’s style.

Loves…

Finishing a look & seeing my clients confidence immediately change and leaving with a huge smile on their face. My favourite job would be a complete restyle with a total colour change, complimenting a person’s skin tone and boost their overall appearance.

Creative Influence

I love the Bohemian look, with hair being tousled and back combed to give a carefree look, matched with the correct jewellery, clothes etc.. Vanessa Hudgens & Sienna Miller always pull off this look as do Nicole Ritchie & Kate Bosworth when hitting the festivals.

Favourite product

I am loving Volume Foam for fine, flat hair! Smelling of roses it gives lifeless hair a boost without being heavy or greasy.

Stylists Top Tip

You will never create a salon blow dry without a little help from your favourite product!

Our hair is who we are whether that be a blonde bombshell, a fiery redhead or dark and mysterious. Your hair is important so treat it with regular trims, good products which will all keep your hair looking healthy for longer.

Loves…

Theres nothing more rewarding than hairdressing. I love it when clients have faith in me to deliver not only a professional service, but somewhere to escape where they can relax in our friendly salon.

Creative Influence

I am always influenced by Victoria Beckham’s style, I like how she presents fashion and carries off a trend. From long glossy hair extensions to the POB and the short pixie cut all are still popular today. I’ve always thought the 1940’s were very glamorous for women with soft waves, pencil beauty spots and red lipstick, the softer curl is back in fashion.

Favourite product

Label M Radiance Oil is part of the Age Therapy range and contains Argan Oil which helps transform the look and feel of dull or damaged hair. For long term rejuvenation just add a pea size amount to your wet or dry hair creating instant gloss.

Stylists Top Tip

If adding a fringe to change your style start off with something longer, softer, and maybe sweeping around the face before going too short or blunt. This type of fringe is more versatile and can be styled in lots of different ways.

On the art of beauty therapy

Beauty therapy covers a wide range of treatment types. It’s a feeling of well-being that’s important to us whether your treatment is a simple eyebrow tidy or a relaxing, rejuvenating Elemis facial.

Loves…

Treating clients to our Elemis facials. I am able to treat all skin types, solving a variety of problems from fine lines and wrinkles to the most sensitive skin. It’s most rewarding when a client is totally relaxed and they see how amazing their skin looks afterwards.

Creative Influence

I draw inspiration from fashion magazines keeping in touch with celebrity makeup artists and styling trends. Nails can be huge fashion statement and are most definitely here to stay. I also follow MAC makeup artists and adapt some of their high fashion looks to suit my clients.

Favourite product

Pro Collagen Marine Cream – I love the feel of this product on the skin. After just 14 days you can see the skin is dramatically more hydrated.

Therapists Top Tip

Always remove your makeup before bed and use good moisturisers day and night.

It’s important to invest in your skin as it’s the first thing someone sees when they look at you. The brighter your skin looks the better, younger and more confident you’ll feel!

Loves…

Seeing clients reap the benefits after a face or body treatment and getting positive feedback on how they feel afterwards. Clients are always surprised at how even the simplest beauty treatment can make such a difference to how they look and feel about themselves.

Creative Influence

The ‘less is more’ look is one that always appeals to me the most. I love the timeless, natural makeup worn by celebs such as Nicole Kidman and Kate Middleton.

Favourite product

Elemis Frangipani Oil has the most beautiful long-lasting fragrance and is so light and versatile. I enjoy using it on hair and the body during massage treatments to hydrate and moisturise leaving the skin and hair silky soft.

Therapists Top Tip

Clients focus so much on the face they forget about their body. Body brushing and moisturising makes the skin softer, smoother and reduces cellulite. Also your movement and posture will benefit from regular massages to loosen muscles and banish knots, not to mention how super relaxed you’ll feel after the treatment too.
